Death of elite swimmer in Fujairah

Crippen died last Saturday while competing in FINA Open Water 10km World Cup at Fujairah.

via – National News.

This news is quite worrying.  It seems the swimmer drowned, perhaps as a result of the UAE waters being too hot for elite competition – which I can understand.
